Privacy at Build Pro

Build Pro is the business platform for contractors: leads, estimates, contracts, jobs, invoices, and the Job Walk, in one connected record. This page says, in plain words, what the product holds, where it lives, and what never happens to it.
What Build Pro holds
- Your account and company profile — your name, email, phone, business address, and license details, for you and each person on your team who has a login.
- Your customers' records — the customer names, emails, phones, and job addresses you enter to do your work.
- Your work product — estimates, contracts, change orders, jobs, invoices, notes, and the documents you upload or generate.
- Job Walk evidence — photos and audio notes captured during a walk. A photo may carry a location stamp from the device at the moment it was taken, when the device provides one and location is allowed. If there is no stamp, that absence is what gets recorded — a location is never invented.
- Signatures and signing records — who signed, when, and the signed document itself.
- Payment status — whether a subscription or invoice is paid. Subscriptions and invoice payments run through Stripe's own hosted pages: card numbers go to Stripe, never to Build Pro, and are never stored by us.
Where it lives
Everything sits on Build Pro's servers, under your company account, and moves only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). People on your team see your company's records; nobody outside your company does, except our own platform operators when you ask for support or an account action (like a deletion request) needs a person to carry it out.
What never happens to it
Your data is never sold. It is never shared with marketing. Build Pro carries no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and no data brokers. Nothing you or your customers put into Build Pro is used to advertise anything to anyone.
Who else is involved
- Our hosting provider runs the servers the product lives on.
- Stripe processes payments in its own hosted flows, when you connect it. Stripe receives what it needs to run the payment — the card itself never passes through Build Pro.
That's the whole list. There are no other third parties receiving your data from Build Pro.
Your choices
- Location is optional. Photo location stamps are permission-gated on the device; the product works with location turned off.
- Take your documents with you. Every job's documents can be exported from the job's page at any time.
- Close your account. Your company owner can request account deletion from inside Build Pro (Setup), or without signing in — see deleting your account.
How long we keep it
Your records stay while your account is active — they are your business record, and Build Pro's job is to keep them connected and findable. If you request deletion, we confirm the request with you first, and then a person on our team carries it out; the deletion page explains exactly what happens.
